Thank you for being an important source of Light to us

Dear Family, Friends, Neighbors, and Acquaintances,
It is hard to believe that it is already two years since Cory's injury. In some ways it feels like yesterday and in other ways in feels like an eternity. Our entire family has been affected in a profound way, life will never be the same. Every day we face new challenges. Life is a constant juggling act to ensure the coverage we need is in place, that every life situation has been anticipated and planned for, that destinations are accessible, that extra hands are available, and that Cory feels comfortable and safe.
We look for any creative solution that will help Cory become more independent. We investigate sports that he may be able to participate in, travel alternatives (we have not ventured into the air), ways to navigate the water (we have not ventured unto the beach or boat), and trainers and therapists that are experienced with spinal cord injury strengthening exercises.
We quietly keep a look out for the scientific miracle. The human trials to find the cure. The magic pill or potion that will return life to a previous normal. We keep praying and asking others to do so, so that Hashem may grant Cory health, happiness and the previlige to walk again.
This site has been created in order to keep you posted on our journey and to thank you for all your support, help and guidance. The road to recovery is a long one that requires much patience. It also requires a lot of hard work and much help from family, therapists, trainers, friends, and countless people who care.
We are blessed to be part of many wonderful communities and be surrounded by so many people who have helped us in countless ways. We receive many emails and calls, and so it seemed that we could best keep everyone up-to-date on our recent experiences through this website.
Please continue to daven for Cory, aka Aaron ben Henya Haddassah.
With hope and thankfulness,
Heidi and Scott Greenbaum
